Oil: Iraq's first postwar oil bidding for oil contracts

Iraq is scheduled to open its first postwar bidding for oil service contracts on Monday. International oil companies were expelled by Saddam Hussein more than 30 years ago. The companies that qualified for the bidding, along with the fields and reserves, are compiled below.

Iraq: The IMF might grant Iraq a lone of 5 billion dollars

According to a member of the Economic and Investment Committee, Muhammad Khalil, said that the IMF has given positive indications to accept Iraq's request to borrow more than five billion dollars to cover the budget deficit resulting from the decline in Iraqi revenues from oil.

Oil: Re-operating Hydrocracker units in Baiji after 20 years of halting

The Oil Ministry’s spokesman Assem Jihad, stated on Saturday, saying that the ministry has re-operated some of the hydro-cracker units in Baiji Refinery, after a stoppage of 20 years, which will contribute to the provision of many petroleum products.

Kurdistan: $15 billion of foreign investment was estimated in Kurdistan

The Headman of Investment association in the territory of Kurdistan Hersh Muharram declared that foreign investments in the province during past eighteen months, estimated to fifteen billion dollars, half of Arab investors, especially from the Gulf states.

Oil: Iraq's oil exports decline in June from the highest level since the war

Navigational data was collected by Reuters showed on Friday that Iraqi oil exports declined in last June from the highest level since the war because of bad weather led to the suspension of exports from the south of the country.

Iraq: Al Shams ship is joining the Iraqi fleet

Kurdistan: U.S. Vice-President meets Kurdistan President and PM
